Making a video using Windows Movie Maker

Some are saying that making a video is more difficult and also they saying that to make a video you have to install many video editing programs like Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effect or U lead etc. But there is a simple way to make a good video. Do you know? It's Windows Movie Maker. It's easy to create and editing a video. And lot of other things like splitting videos into pieces,adding titles and credits, taking snapshots, extract audio from video, adding audio to a video,make a movie from clips,capturing video from other devices,adding video transitions, adding video effects, narrate the Timeline by microphone and many many more things related to editing.   For the question how to make a video using windows movie maker is just a simple thing. Follow the instructions.

Storyboard

1. You have to open windows  movie maker in start   >   All programs   >   windows movie maker*** (here I'm going to teach about the movie maker comes with windows xp service pack 3)
   
2. Then import media files like video files,picture files or audio files.You can import music files like *.wav, *.aif, *.snd, *.mp3, video files like *.avi, *.mpg, *.m1v, *.mp2, *.mp2v, picture files such as *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.bmp, *.gif, *.png and windows movie maker 1.x collection files such as *.col. To import go to File>Import into Collections or press ctrl+I keyboard shortcuts. 
3. Your imported files are show under the 'Collections'.

   Timeline

   Now you can add the media files to the story board and you can do editing on the Timeline.And also you can save all the things you have done using File   >   Save As..
5. After finalizing your movie (video or movie) you have to publish it as a WMV(windows Media Video) or WMA(windows media audio) formats.To do this go for File menu and click Save Movie File.. or press ctrl+P buttons.And selet the location that where do you want to save your movie.Then click Next. Enter a file name for your movie and choose a location to save.And it goes to Movie setting.If you are an expert you can change those settings otherwise you click on Next. If you want to save in other video formats like *.mp4, *.mpg, *.mpeg, *.3gp, *.DivX etc you have to save in WMV and after that change the file format using a video converter. (applications like full video converter, any video converter etc)
